There are 6 cargo types in the game:
Dry, Refrigerated, Granular, Construction, Machinery, and Hazmat.
Each cargo type has its own gameplay characteristics, including unique demand patterns, pricing, and optimal haul distances.
Cargo Type | Weight Class | Measurement | Vehicle Type | Notes |
| Dry | Light or Heavy | m³ / kg | Vans & Trucks | Common and versatile cargo. Good on most routes. |
| Refrigerated | Light or Heavy | m³ / kg | Trucks (Reefer-certified) | Requires reefer-capable vehicles. |
| Granular | Light or Heavy | m³ / kg | Trucks | Often used with bulk or tipper trailers. |
| Construction | Light or Heavy | m³ / kg | Trucks (esp. flatbeds) | Suitable for heavy-duty transport, including flatbeds. |
| Machinery | Heavy | kg | Trucks | Cannot be carried as light cargo. Large and weight-intensive. |
| Hazmat | Light only | m³ | Trucks (Tanker-certified) | Must be hauled by tanker-certified vehicles. Carries risk and higher pay. |
Light weight class (m³ / gal) has faster loading times, lower wear and tear, and lower fuel usage.
Heavy weight class (kg / lbs) has slower to load/unload, more wear, higher fuel consumption, and will emit more CO₂.
