The stock market is divided into six regional exchanges—one for each continent. Each exchange is further categorized into four tiers: Large Cap, Mid Cap, Low Cap, and the Growth Market.
Each continent and tier provides specific income boosts to listed companies. Continental boosts apply to routes originating from the same continent as the company’s exchange, while Global boosts apply to any route, regardless of location. Only the higher of these two values is applied; Global income boosts do not stack on top of Continental boosts.
Note: For long-haul routes, this income boost appears as a higher probability of winning contracts over competitors with identical bids.
Each tier also has specific regulations regarding the number of companies allowed and the minimum market capitalization required for entry.
